The »Hen« egg cups of the former VEB Sonja PLASTIC publicly-owned company in Wolkenstein in the Ore Mountains of Thuringia are still produced today in many colours. In the front a lifelike chicken head with a comb and throat pouch, in the back hinted tail feathers. The egg finds its place in the middle: trendy, a bit shrill and funny.
