The design of the latest 0-euro note celebrates everyday family life in front of an original Karat wall unit with a television in the living room of the DDR Museum. The original new-build apartment measured between 60 and 70 square meters in floor space and is slightly larger in our museum due to its use as an exhibition space. The reverse side features some of Europe's most famous landmarks: the Torre de Belém in Lisbon, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, the Basilica of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, the Manneken Pis in Brussels, and the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The limited edition of 10,000 pieces is very popular with collectors. Like its predecessors, this collector's item is limited to 10,000 copies.
