GDR in objects

The GDR summarised in objects, scientifically edited and historically classified. The first of three volumes in the exclusive »GDR in Objects« series shows 1,200 objects from the German Democratic Republic on 400 pages on the themes of everyday life, home and consumption.

They all come from the collection of the DDR Museum, which, with over 300,000 artifacts, is the world's largest museum collection on the subject, and were curated for this illustrated book by the museum's collection experts.
