A magnet based on a historical model. When the state and party leaders of the Soviet bloc met, there was a lot of kissing: in the 60s this even came in the form of a brief triple touch on the cheeks, just like the Russian Orthodox Easter kiss. It was only under the Soviet General Secretary Brezhnev that it became a smack directly on the mouth. This was not an expression of love, but a ritual of submission. If someone stepped out of line, he was given »brotherly help« in the form of armoured divisions, like the Hungarians in 1956 and the Czechs in 1968. Only after the balance of power had been clarified was kissing resumed, as in this case with Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev and Erich Honecker.
