The »Hen« egg cups of the former VEB Sonja PLASTIC publicly-owned company in Wolkenstein in the Ore Mountains in Thuringia are still produced today in many colours. It has a lifelike chicken head with a comb and throat pouch in the front and hinted tail feathers in the back. The egg finds its place in the middle: trendy, a bit shrill and funny.
